It’s been quite a while since I updated this blog. This isn’t due to any single thing, but a myriad of occurrences over the last couple of months that have prevented me from setting aside the extra time to write a blog post, or put together a new YouTube video.
This is something I’m hoping to change now that things have smoothed out again, so I figured I’d jump back in with a little update on what’s going on in my life and what I’ve been doing the last couple of months.
For starters, anyone that follows this blog will already be aware that I left PureGym earlier this year and moved to Olympic Gym in Eccles. This was and is a good career choice for me. I’m enjoying my job a lot more than I had been doing for a while, and I look forward to my sessions without feeling rushed through or worrying about having to change entire session plans due to lack of equipment.
Alongside PTing, I'm still leading ladies’ boxing classes at the Yemeni Community Centre 2 nights a week, so my evenings generally are pretty booked up, which is nice as it keeps me fairly busy. During the days I have a little more free time, but lately my days have been filled with moving house, cleaning, furniture building etc. Once again, it keeps me busy, but I’m happy to say that we are pretty much moved in. There are things to unpack and find new homes for, but otherwise we’re done with the move.
Over the last couple of months myself and my partner have lost family members and been a little all over the place with working multiple jobs (and to add to that, I’ve joined a second gym!) but now that other aspects of our lives are settling back to normality, hopefully things even out and I can get back to blogging.
Anyway, this was a brief little summary of what I’ve been doing lately. I hope it finds you well and that I’ll be more regular with updating!
